The representative of Benjamin Sesko, a player targeted by Arsenal for a potential transfer, has generated anticipation by suggesting that the striker might join the Emirates Stadium during the summer.

Sesko, who is 20 years old, has been associated with a move to the Premier League following his impressive performances in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.

Having scored 15 goals in his first season in Germany, Sesko has also found the net in his previous four matches.

It is reported that the Slovenia international has a £43million release clause in his contract at the Red Bull Arena, which will be activated in the summer.

Compared to the hefty transfer fees exceeding £100m required to secure Ivan Toney or Victor Osimhen, Sesko could be considered a cost-effective option for Arsenal.

Kai Havertz has assumed the role of the main striker in Mikel Arteta’s team in recent weeks. Following the impressive 6-0 victory against West Ham, the talented player, who was signed for £65 million, has managed to score eight goals in 12 Premier League matches and has also provided five assists.

Nevertheless, it is anticipated that Edu Gaspar, the club’s technical director, will be looking to add a new striker to the team during the summer transfer window. Despite the ongoing importance of the remaining matches, the club is actively working on their transfer plans behind the scenes
